Love's Ancient Dilemma
One of my friends took this photo of me and my husband on our recent visit to an appple orchard.
There are several things that come to mind when I look at this photo:
1. I'm short.
2. I desperately need to get my roots done.
3. I think it's time to cut my hair.
4. Jonagold apples will always be my favorites.
5. Scruffy is so much sexier than cleanly shaved.
6. I have Ashlee Simpson's nose - pre-nose job.
7. I need to get a coat like my friend, Emily's yellow one that she let me borrow because I was dying a frozen death. It's a toasty fire disguised as a coat.
8. I love my husband's hair.
9. I love my husband.
10. Love is a very powerful thing.
I think he'd do anything for me.

You all are so sweet. And funny. And so obviously in love.
You know First of all I did not think most of those things when I looked at the picture... only that you love him and the Adam and Eve things was a little creepy. To think Adam might have thrown away paradise because he was in love.
You are the cutest. I too am much shorter than my husband and quite often forget that fact. Then suddenly, I'll see a picture or I'll see a couple who are the same size and then I'll think, "Wow, we really do have a height difference!"
Adam and Eve were the first thing I thought of when I saw this cute picture of you and your husband.
The bible says Eve was deceived but Adam wasn't. Could it have been when he saw the one he loved had eaten of the forbidden fruit that he couldn't bare the thought of living without her so he ate also????
I think the theology of some of your commenters is a bit...um...off.
BUT, that is a precious picture. Your expression is all you. I can just imagine what you are thinking and the tone of your voice.
